Project Description
The L&T Bisalpur to Jaipur Water Pipeline Project stands as a landmark initiative in India’s urban water supply infrastructure. Designed to address the growing demand for drinking water in Jaipur, the project involved the construction of a large-scale pipeline to transport water from Bisalpur to the city over a considerable distance. Recognized as the largest water supply project in the country, it played a vital role in ensuring sustainable access to clean water for the urban population.
Executed between April 1st, 2008, and December 2009, the project was completed with a total investment of ₹2.5 crore. Through this effort, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) not only showcased its engineering expertise but also contributed significantly to enhancing the quality of life in Jaipur by securing a reliable water supply source for its residents.
